So excited!

NY times.com

After deliberating for weeks (Iceland? Too cold; Peru? Expensive flight; Italy? Too many tourists) we finally booked tickets to Beijing! And I’m so thrilled! We’ll be making a quick stop in Tel Aviv, which is quite exciting as well. We have three full weeks (without our travelling days), so we still have to decide where we’re going. Of course there are some highlights I definitely want to see when we’re in Beijing, like the Chinese Wall, the Forbidden City, the TiananMen Square and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong. And probably going further inland, to see more of the 'real China'. But we’re thinking about maybe flying to another destination as well, like the Philippines (going back to our ‘hometown’ Manila, yeah!) or Borneo (checking out the orangutan!).

Wherever our journey will bring us, I’m very much looking forward to another adventure!

Heerlijke stad!
